# Zuse

> Run every coding agent from one desktop. Pick boxd as the cloud machine and each chat gets an isolated microVM that hibernates on pause and wakes with its processes intact.

[Zuse](https://zuse.sh) is a desktop app for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, OpenCode, and other coding agents. It runs parallel attempts in isolated worktrees with one review surface, on your own agent subscriptions.

## Use the Zuse desktop app

[Download Zuse](https://zuse.sh) and pick **Cloud · boxd** in the composer's **Run on** menu. Each chat gets its own isolated boxd microVM. Pausing a chat hibernates it, and resuming wakes it with the agent and your dev servers still running.

## Self-host Zuse

The boxd provider is [open source](https://github.com/swarajbachu/zuse/pull/657), so you can run Zuse yourself on your own boxd account. Publish a template, store the key, and set `BOXD_ADAPTER_ENABLED=true`:

```bash theme={"theme":"github-dark"}
boxd auth keys create zuse-api --org <your-org>
BOXD_API_KEY=bxd_... BOXD_ORG=<your-org> infra/cloud-sandboxes/boxd-publish.sh 1
bun --filter @zuse/api secret:boxd
```

The [adapter README](https://github.com/swarajbachu/zuse/blob/main/packages/sandbox-providers/README.md#boxd) covers the rest of the configuration.
